Born in Iran, an alumnus of IDF Intelligence Unit 8200, and recipient of the Israel Defense Prize. He studied for 12 years in the Islamic education system in Iran, and for three years in Kashan University’s civil engineering department, before moving to Israel in 2003. He holds an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from Bar-Ilan University, and lectures on Iran, the Middle East, and Shia Islam.
