Gilad Erdan
Served as Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations from 2020-2024, and as Ambassador to the United States in 2021. Prior to that, he served for 12 years in the Israeli Government in numerous ministerial roles, including as Public Security Minister, Strategic Affairs Minister, Interior Minister, Communications Minister, Home Front Defense Minister, Environmental Protection Minister, and Regional Cooperation Minister. During that time, he also served for 7 years as a member of Israel’s Security Cabinet. Erdan entered the Knesset in 2003 at the age of 33, where he chaired the Economic Affairs Committee, and was recognized as the Outstanding Legislator of the 17th Knesset. He also served as Chair of ‘Al Sam’, a non-profit which assists youth dealing with substance abuse.
