Dr. Jonathan Spyer, a contributor to the Misgav Institute for National Security and Zionist Strategy, is director of research at the Philadelphia-based Middle East Forum and editor of its Middle East Quarterly journal. He also is a columnist for The Jerusalem Post and a contributor to The Wall Street Journal and Jane’s Intelligence Review.
